I was born on June 19, 1946 and grew up in a wonderful Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. I remember playing street games with my friends everyday after school and
all day during the warm, all too short summers. I graduated Xaverian High School, an all boys Catholic school, in 1964. I remember seeing President Eisenhower on TV and
watching John F. Kennedy's inaugural address in January 1961. At that time, we had neither cable nor a remote for the black & white TV!
I started undergraduate studies at Temple University in Philadelphia in 1965, when the Vietnam War was on the TV news every night. I joined the Marine Corp in June 1971, did
Boot Camp at Parris Island, SC and was stationed in the desert at 29 Palms, CA and also at Camp Pendleton, CA; I was honorably discharged in June 1974. I settled down in
1989 when my son, Justin, was born and completed my undergraduate studies at California State University, Los Angeles. In August 1994, I realized my dream of
attending law school and practicing law. You're never too old to fulfill your dreams.
